The cost of mental health care is out of reach for too many people in the music industry. The 2025 MusiCares Wellness in Music survey found that financial challenges remain one of the greatest stressors for the music community - 53 percent of respondents noted that their earnings have not stabilized post-pandemic - impacting both stability and mental health.

That’s why Backline and Sweet Relief Musician's Fund created Music’s Mental Health Fund, a partnership that ensures music industry professionals can access therapy without worrying about cost.

Backline’s Case Managers speak with clients every day, helping them navigate care options and build custom care plans.

Every single day, at least one person asks for financial support to afford therapy. Through this fund, we can say “yes.”

Sweet Relief administers grants - up to $1,000 per person that covers roughly six sessions of real, professional mental health care made possible by donors like you.
